Did you know that. Tempranillo, along with carignan, barbés and grenache constituted the essence of Navarre’s viticulture (Jose Antonio Valcarcel, “Agricultura General y gobierno de la casa de campo”. 1791). Tempranillo is the main grape in Apellation of Navarre.
